I found this car in Virginia. As soon as I looked through the window I was immediately brought back to a time when I drove in the back seat of my grandfather’s black Buick. In those days cars were made of American Steel. That is why you and I are able to still catch a climps of their simple charm

Never dismiss the old or the rust. In life as in objects they provide wisdom and history.

I have always been fascinated by rust, gears and the movement of metal. I discovered this old gear in Virginia amongst many discarded pieces of metal.

Another gem found in Virginia. Thank you to the historians who collect the past, gather it up and save it for us to learn from

I love finding old coke items. I found this in Arizona bolted to the side of an old Volkswagen. Both were fascinating.

This Caboose may have seen its glory days however I find beauty in its structure and color even the graffiti adds to its wonderful history

I don’t know about you but I am always intrigued with old cars that date back to the 1940’s and beyond especially if they are rusted. It saddens me to think that someone left this beauty of a car to rot away and yet I am drawn to it. Imaging who owned it and the story this car could tell.

Coca Cola bottles that indicate where they were manufactured in America and a six pack carry case
